Jason Powers, LLPC
Jason believes that all people need to love and be loved. When these core emotional needs are not met, it can lead to a wide range of physical and mental health issues, such as headaches, stomach distress, muscle tension or pain, anxiety, sadness, hopelessness, guilt, shame, feeling overwhelmed, or feeling stuck to name a few.
These all-too-common struggles are what prevent people from experiencing fulfillment in life—love, happiness, success and joy. Jason provides a supportive, understanding, and judgment-free counseling space to help you work through your challenges and achieve the growth and healing you need.
Jason has completed extensive postgraduate training and certification programs in anxiety and depression treatment, developed by Dr. Todd Pressman; ADHD evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, led by Dr. Edward Hallowell and Dr. John Ratey; and couples and family therapy, taught by Dr. John and Julie Gottman, Dr. Gary Chapman, and Dr. Emerson Eggerichs.
Jason’s role as your therapist is to help you recognize your needs and desires, offer support and encouragement, and provide hope as you navigate this journey. He is well-versed in a variety of therapeutic techniques and treatments, which he tailors to each individual’s specific needs.
